Just your average, everyday railroader. Had something of a life in railroad signalling as well as telecommunications. Been blessed enough to be able to stay with the same employer for over 30 years.

I found out that I was a geek years ago, and participated in early computer users groups, ran a BBS and did a lot of things when home computers were not the norm. It's actually lead me to things in my job, as I have ran critical computer systems as a team manager/system administrator.

I still love watching professional team sports, and I still mess around with home computers. I've met friends in distant places, some I've met and some I have on my bucket list to meet. It's a great thing. However, in this day and age, it's not unusual as it used to be.
