Rain debuted in the Fall of 2015 and is designed to be an annual outreach program intended to illuminate the word “unity” cuddled within the word community with the intention of building progressive relationships among those who attend; for the purpose of inspiring and supporting visions and dreams otherwise deferred or abandoned due to lack of direction, relationship, and resources. The goal is twofold. We want the community to know what services are available to them; and we want those with ideas to be inspired and encouraged to pursue that which is implanted within their hearts to accomplish.

Rain

Rain acronym: Rise, Acclimate, Involve, Nurture.

Rise- Get up and pursue your heart’s desires.

Acclimate-Become adjusted to the new climate you desire to exist in and affect; change your mindset.

Involve- Become an active participant in your life, your dreams, and some aspect of your community.

Nurture- Care for your dreams; cultivate, advance and refine yourself and those you effect.

The program will be hosted by Q The Prophet, and will alternate between performances and speakers. Included in the convention will be vendors and organization founders networking and handing out information. We plan to give attendees material to assist in areas such as 1) encouragement in the pursuit of their dreams, 2) managing their finances, 3) careers goals, 4) small business start-up information, and 5) Insight into various talent careers and music programs to name a few things; as well as encouragement to be independent utilizers of the gifts entrusted to them.
