Rachel Rainwater

Rachel Rainwater is a freshman accounting major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Rachel is set to graduate in May of 2019 with a Master of Science in Accounting.
Rachel is from Southlake, Texas. What distinguishes Rachel from other students is her work ethic and her desire to help others. Her first semester of college Rachel maintained a 3.5 GPA while rushing Pi Beta Phi, rehabbing a sports injury, volunteering with the Girls of Greatness organization and participating in the Pi Phi reading for literacy campaign. In the upcoming years, Rachel plans on increasing her involvement in both her sorority and business fraternities. She plans on running for an officer position and taking on a leadership role in her sorority. She is also in the process of starting a Girls of Greatness club in the Lubbock area. Rachel hopes to study abroad next summer and expand her horizons Internationally.
