Raj Dhaliwal

Raj was your typical Northeast Calgary kid. He loved to spend his time shooting hoops with his friends and playing hockey and cricket at Prairie Winds Park. His first part-time job in high school was working at a local Northeast convenience store.

After graduating from Lester B. Pearson high school, Raj attended the University of Calgary, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations – following that he attended the Schulich School of Engineering, where he obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering.

I believe Ward 5 deserves a better future and that we must be bold, courageous and united to move forward. I am ready and committed to serving our community and fighting for an equitable, inclusive and fair tomorrow.
