Rajamanohar Somasundaram

Rajamanohar is an IITK Alumnus, a serial technology entrepreneur built Internet and mobile ventures in India and Africa. Presently, He is the CEO of Aqua Connect, a full-stack aquaculture technology venture that works with shrimp and fish aquaculture farmers to improve their farm productivity and sustainability through AI and Satellite remote sensing technologies intervention.

World Economic Forum named him among “Young Global Leaders 2012” in recognition of the contribution in the mobile communication services for emerging markets. He became a ‘TED Fellow’ In 2016. He was also offered Draper Hills Fellowship at Stanford’s CDDRL for his work on technology interventions for inclusion. His team has been named among the TR35 - TOP 20 Young Innovators in India and won ‘Social Innovator of the year 2012’ by MIT Tech Review India for the development of speech enabled mobile solutions for Indian market. Raj holds a diploma on global leadership and public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
