Rajani Subramanian is a New Jersey-based software engineer who has worked for a number of major firms across the United States throughout her career. In her early work, she started her career as a software developer working for consulting companies serving investment banks in the New York area .Later on, Rajani Subramanian moved to a large investment bank headquartered in New Jersey as director of infrastructure and software . In this role she was responsible for moving all of their critical customer facing applications to amazon cloud .Several of these applications were part of the wealth management group and as a result had significant customer impact and generated several million dollars of savings.

Prior to entering the workforce, she earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai in electrical engineering. She went on to attend the college of Wooster , where she graduated in 2004 with a master of science in computer engineering . In her graduate-level work, she was involved with a number of research efforts and worked as a teaching assistant.

Rajani presently serves as senior director of infrastructure operations at a large bank in New York City
