“An electrical engineer turned investment banker, an ESTJ by MBTI®, a start-up enthusiast, a die-hard Nirvana fan, a devoted Manchester United follower, an explorer, and a passionate cook” - that's how I would briefly introduce myself!

I spend most of my day (and night) working on complex financial models, designing and delivering client presentations and meeting different people from the industry (I enjoy this part of my job most). When not working, I enjoy exploring and reading about new-media and technology innovations and devising sustainable solutions to improve the education framework in India. I am associated with various educational startups and organizations and I advise them on operational, expansion and growth strategies.

In my leisure time, I

  • Wear the Chef’s cap and cook (this is my favorite activity and a stress buster, I generally take charge of Sunday brunches).
  • Put on my scuba-diving gear and explore peace in nature’s own lap (I have completed 5 dives till date – 2 in the US, 2 in Malaysia and 1 in Thailand. Next on the cards is Lakshadweep).
  • Cheer for the Manchester United Football team to glory. (My most memorable experience as a supporter was when I was at Old Trafford and met Sir Alex Fergusson in autumn of 2011).

I am optimistically pursuing

  • A composition of 70+ recipes featuring tastes from the rural and interior areas of India. I hope to publish this when I finish writing the 100th one.
  • A world-map pinned with destinations I have travelled till date. I hope to fill this up completely.
  • Revival of “The Voodoo”, my college rock-band. Our shows were covered by the local media.

I strongly believe in

  • The journey is more important than the destination!
  • If you truly want something, it is most certain you will get it!
