Rajeev Bagga

Rajeev Bagga is a undergraduate student studying commerce at the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Currently, Rajeev is working as the Corporate Relations Associate for the Pacific Venture Capitalist Conference & Competition (PVCC), and serves as the Cultural Relations Executive at UBC UTSAV Indian Student Association. Rajeev also coaches the Jr. and Varsity Cricket teams at St. George's School for Boys.
Rajeev graduated from St. George's Private School for Boys in June of 2013. In school, he served as the Prefect of Service in his senior year, and was involved with several business programs. In terms of sports, Rajeev was the 2nd XI Soccer captain, as well as the MVP and captain for the Varsity Cricket Squad. Rajeev also chaired several business related clubs in highschool, such as the case competitions club and the Dragons' Lair Competition. The primary focus of his studies is in business and law related subjects, which led to his decision to study commerce at the University of British Columbia.
Social Media and web-based companies hold an important factor in Rajeev's upbringing, and he holds a great deal of interest in the subjects. To gain more experience in the areas, Rajeev interned for Kharé Communications and Sokanu in 2012, and manages social media aspects of New World Natural Foods Inc.
Rajeev has big plans for his career, which focuses on the study of commerce, planning to acquire his undergraduate degree through the Sauder School of Business. Bagga foresees his future as a bright one, while realizing what he has today contributes only to what he has been given and the help he has been provided by all around him.
The ideal of giving-back remains as a large part of Bagga's life: when he's not focusing on his studies, sports, and extra-curriculars, he finds time to volunteer with SUMA on his weekends.
Rajeev has been with the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TyE) program as a student since its beginning in September 2011, and went on to win the TyE Vancouver Business Competition. This led him and his team to compete at the TYE Global Business Competition in Atlanta, in which his team placed first out of all 20 chapters around the world and became the recipients of a $25,000 award.
