Rajeev Pareek

Rajeev is highly dedicated to the world of media and marketing. Born in Lucknow, he grew up in New Delhi. After graduating from Delhi University, he did his MMS with specialisation in marketing from Faculty of Management Studies, BHU. He also went to Indian School of Business, Hyderabad in June'2006 for Executive Development Programme.

He kicked off his career with Indian Express, New Delhi in March 1987. He moved to Observer Group ( Reliance entry into print media) in 1990. He worked with them for almost five years & came to Mumbai in 1994. He spent five years with Hinduja Group ( IndusInd Media) in Mumbai.

He joined Hathway Cable in Dec 1999 as General Manager. He was the Executive Vice President in the organization before starting his own media & marketing advisory in May 2013.

He played critical role in establishing Hathway as "India's 5th largest broadband company", one of the most renowned brand in the Western region with substantial market share. He was spearheading marketing, branding & communication strategies during phase 1 & 2 roll out of DAS for Hathway.

In his advisory services, he works with PEs & Investors ( who are looking for investment opprtunites in Media, Cable & Broadcasting space). He assists these PEs in taking informed decision for taking right calls on investments.

A very jovial person, he likes to spend his weekend with his family. He enjoys guiding young kids on their career moves. A movie buff, he loves reading business journals and is a keen investor out of hobby !
