Rajesh (R. J.) Jyotishi

Rajesh also known as R. J. by his American friends was born in Mumbai, India and has been living in the Atlanta, GA for the majority of his life.

He was the publisher and co-founder of Khabar Magazine, a magazine serving the Asian Indian Community in GA for the last 23 years with readership of over 90,000 in GA and surrouding aeas.

Rajesh is also an insurance agent and financial planner. His firm Shalin Financial Services, named after his oldest son Shalin has been providing services in the areas of life & health insurance, employee benefits, investments and financial planning since 1991. His specialties are in life & health benefits for individuals and business owners. He hosts the "Moneywise" column in Khabar Magazine.

R. J. is also a musician and song writer. He used to have a rock band while in college and it was his dream to go back in the studio and record some his favorite songs he had written thru the years. He recently completed his own music CD titled "Carpe Diem" which means to Seize the Day! The CD is available on itunes, Amazon and other online retailers. He is currently working on a follow up EP called "The World is Yours" to be released early 2012.

His other interests include audio books, yoga, meditation, golf, working out and spending time with family and friends.
