A software engineer by profession, my passion for everything not related to computers and programming, made sure that I grew up not as a geek but a social animal (yes I talk English and not Java). A hunger for the spotlight ensured that I can talk and talk well (No! Don’t bug me for pointers on how to give a very good presentation)

Spent the better half of my childhood in the scorching heat of Muscat, and the rest of it in God’s own country doing all the crazy things young people do. Good genes ensured that I was a bright kid, so instead of slogging towards the top grades (which came to me naturally), I saw more sense in engaging my time in a plethora of other activities like music and taming the outdoors.

Right now, I’m with MAD, mad about making a difference, mad about spreading smiles, mad about making the world a wee bit better. A year and half as a teaching volunteer (a constant tug of war with the kids, them trying to escape, and me trying to keep them in class) taught me there is more to life than the joys a privileged few enjoy. Hence, these days MAD is tugging at my attention quite a bit. As the MAD president to Bangalore, I intend to spread the MAD fever and plant big fat smiles on every kid’s face who embraces the MADness.
