Rajib

As a child, he would spend most of his time drawing and painting. Whether it was at home, over his grandma's house, at school or at his Dad's office; he was always found doing something artistic. Even though he was never encouraged to take up art as a career, but he was never forced into something either. When he grew up he willfully chose to study computers. Perhaps it was something he needed to do.

After getting his bachelor's degree in computer applications he started working as an apprentice in an IT firm. Despite the frenzied corporate life and demanding graduate school curriculum he would often loose himself to listening to music and drawing through the night. After several years of working as a software professional, his passion for arts finally over took him. In the face of the recent completion of his grad school he decided to switch gears and pursue a career in photography.

Though he takes up commercial assignments, he still practices other genres like Street Photography, Landscape and anything that he finds visually stimulating and interesting. Rajib is based in Calcutta, which is his hometown.
