Rajib Saha

Textile Engineer in Mönchengladbach, Germany

Rajib finished his Masters in Management of Textile Trade and Technology majoring in Technical Textiles (Biotextiles) from Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in October 2016. He completed his B. Sc. in Textile and Clothing Management from the thereof University.

Rajib belongs to the millennials demographic being born in 1988 in Dhaka Bangladesh. He lives up to the clichés generally associated with millennials, one of the biggest is that he does not own a TV and subscribes to Podcasts, Youtube, Xbox and Netflix for his weekly media dose.

His upbringing coincided with the bolstering of the then nascent textile and clothing industry of Bangladesh. Rajib has witnessed the gradual arrival of Bangladesh in the world stage of textile and clothing industry and the transformation of his beloved city Dhaka to a textile and clothing manufacturing hub; at a very early age he decided to leave his footprint in the global textile and clothing industry.

In his quest to boarden his horizon Rajib has travelled across 14 countries and finds cities Bangkok, Berlin, Cape Town, Sydney and New York the most fascinating of all the cities he has travelled to; and the cities Chicago, Maelmo, Stockholm and Rejyavik yet to cross-off from the long list of Cities-still-to-travel.

In his everyday sartorial Rajib tries to maintain a Scandi-style with subtle bohemian undertone, completed with a bold choice of sneaker. Even though he is brand agnostic when it comes to sneakers, the sneakerhead inside him has a penchant for Adidas Originals and Reebook Classics.

At this point in time, equipped with Masters degree in the field of Textile Technology, Rajib awaits for the avenue facilitated by a German company with stakes in around the globe to embark on the penultimate goal to further bridge the globalized textile and clothing industry.
