Rakesh is a User Xperience designer, Game Designer and a gamification specialist. Rakesh has been in this industry for the last 5 years. He designed games for the mobile, gamified mental health and physical health platforms among many others. I would further describe Rakesh as a well versed individual in design and gamification. He is an evangelist for empathetic design, with consumers in mind.

That´s enough of talking about myself in the third person.

My focus has always been UX and games design, but like most of the Indian kids from a middle class family, I had to study engineering. Fortunately, my mentor during engineering never let this be a reason for my true passion to die.

After my studies, I travelled to Bangalore, India where I built a product Ulteamo along with Lisle Partners Technology.

I moved to Hyderabad, India after a year after I was appointed as the Director for GoLive Gaming Studios. To work with various people from various backgrounds has been rewarding.

I am currently pursuing my research at RMIT University, Australia. I am doing my research in the field of design and psychology. I believe that designers should be empathetic and consider the psychological aspects of design while designing a product/game.

I wish that my career and my mark in this field goes up exponentially.
