Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt has an extensive educational background, beginning at Valparaiso University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and graduated with honors. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Eichstaedt continued at the school and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986. Afterward, Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt began his practical training through a general surgery internship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He also completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Barnes Hospital and a fellowship in tumor and reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition to his current role at Belleair Oral Surgery and Implants, he has performed dental surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; the Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery in Orlando, Florida; and the Dental Health Group in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt also served as Director of Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry.
