"I wouldn't want to hear Beethoven without beautiful bass, the cellos, the tuba. It's very important. Hip-hop has thunderous bass. And so does Beethoven. If you don't have the bass, it's like being amputated. It's like you have no legs." -Lou Reed
Going down this road presents me with new challenges that I had not anticipated. As a slow learner, it's been more of a battle to absorb knowledge and be surprised by how the Conservatory operates. Despite the fact that I had such a flaw, I continued on this path. I enjoy what I do, which is one of the reasons I persevere in the face of adversity.
I became disoriented during my Jr. High school days on what to take up until some of my classmates sold me to a school choir that makes the beginning of my journey after 4 months of being a member of the Choral group they encourage me to join the School band and I get to play the Tuba It's been running for about 6 years.
For the time being, I'm a music student at the University of Santo Tomas, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education with a Tuba Emphasis.
I aspire to be a great tuba player as well as a teacher who inspires and motivates others to pursue their dreams. Every push and guide to a student is a milestone that is to be achieved as time passes and students grow.
