Ramahn Jemahl

Ramahn Jemahl was born in Akron, OH. He was raised by his mother, grandparents, great grandparents, and a host of aunts and uncles. Growing up attending his mother’s rehearsals, who also is a soul singer, he was influenced and inspired by great music. This motivated Ramahn to start perfecting his own art and music at a young age. He was a part of a R&B; group by the name of 1487. The trio “1487″ was signed by an indie record label out of Los Angeles, which gave Ramahn a taste of stardom. During that time Ramahn toured the south, but unfortunately the group went their separate ways. Since, Ramahn has pursued a solo career in which he recently created a Neo-Soul album that has received high acclaim in the local arena. He has also collaborated with a local well known Hip-Hop Poet by the name of Ace Boogie. Now they are performing shows together which have included The Fox 8 Morning Show, The House of Blues, and various other venues in Ohio. Performing with Ace Boogie has allowed him to open for current artists such as Keyshia Cole, Lyfe Jennings, Angie Stone, and Lupe Fiasco. They have recently collaborated with Doodlebug of The Digable Planets. Ramahn Jemahl continues to create music and assist other artists in reaching their dreams.
