Raman Veeramraju has over nineteen years of experience in planning, architecture design, implementation, operation, support, training, and resource management on various Information Technology Systems, Network, Storage, BCDR, Security, Virtualization and Cloud computing systems.
Raman is currently working as an Enterprise Architect at VMware's Federal PSO, responsible for architecting and designing US Army's Software Defined Datacenter, Cloud Environment & End User Computing.
Raman worked as a Global Practice Executive for Cloud Computing at Dell.
Prior to that, Raman worked at VMware's Worldwide Cloud Consulting Team, where he worked mainly to provide technical thought leadership on VMware's cloud direction to the industry and delivered the technical direction in architecting and designing VMware-based cloud solutions for the service providers and enterprise A-list customers. He was also responsible for documenting best practices in developing and deploying VMware solutions, and feed them into VMware's knowledge base. He designed and implemented the first two public clouds using VMware vCloud Director in the world.
Raman was a professional singer (Indian Music) and worked with several top notch Musical Troops in Chennai, India.
