Ramil Asadulzade

My name is Ramil. I am an executive with over 20 years of professional experience across several industries, mainly in oil and gas. I spent more than 11 years working at SOCAR, where I held senior leadership roles, including CFO and later CEO of SOCAR Petroleum SA. My work has focused on finance, IFRS, risk management, internal controls, audit, budgeting, strategy, supply chain, M&A, and business development. I have worked in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Switzerland, and Romania.

I was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and grew up in a modest family. I studied economics and management at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and later earned an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I am also a member of ACCA. Outside work, I enjoy basketball, travel, reading professional literature, and learning new things.
