Editor-in-Chief and CEO of Explocity Pvt Ltd. Life in publishing began in 1989, with a magazine called Bangalore This Fortnight (BTF). BTF quickly became one of the most popular publications in the city, and has transformed into what we know today as Explocity Guide. In April 1996, launched The Bangalore Monthly, the city’s first socio-civic magazine that broke several investigative stories. At about the same time, when the country was getting its first taste of the Internet, went online with the innovative Bangaloremag.com, one the first few city-centric websites in the world. Today, Explocity.com is the aggregation of eight city-centric portals in three countries including India, New York and Dubai. After investment from US-based ICF Ventures, media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp invested in Explocity. An internationally published writer, when my schedule allows for it, I moonlight as a jazz guitarist and sharpen my wits in front of a chessboard 'equally badly! Presently working on an online version of my anthology of 20 years of articles published in various publications.
