Initially born in London, Ramneek S. Bhogal moved to the United States during childhood. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and worked as a teaching assistant before taking on research positions in both Alaska and Nebraska. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2002 and, by 2011, had earned Diplomate status with the American Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Diagnosis and Internal Disorders. He has also undergone training in functional medicine and is board-eligible in clinical nutrition.

His teaching career includes faculty and leadership roles at three chiropractic institutions. He has served as a professor, department chair, and associate dean, with a focus on academic excellence and student success. His contributions include curriculum development, leading faculty teams, and participating in institutional planning and committees. He was honored eight times with Faculty of the Year awards at one college, reflecting his practical, student-centered approach to education.

Alongside his academic roles, he has operated a private practice with an emphasis on chiropractic and natural health.
