Ramon Aparece

Golf Course Superintendent in Jupiter, Florida

I’m Ramon Aparece, a Florida-based Golf Course Superintendent and Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) at Palm Vista Country Club in Palm Beach County. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in turfgrass management, specializing in sustainable agronomy, water conservation, and managing championship conditions in Florida’s demanding coastal climate.

I earned my degree in Turfgrass Science from the University of Florida and built my career learning how to balance performance with environmental responsibility. From reducing water consumption through smart irrigation systems to integrating native landscaping and hurricane preparedness planning, my focus is simple: strong soil, smart data, and a well-trained team.

Florida presents unique challenges—heat, humidity, salt intrusion, and year-round play—but I believe great course conditions are built through preparation, consistency, and leadership.

Outside of work, I enjoy saltwater fishing, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with my family in Jupiter, Florida.

“Great golf conditions are built from the soil up and from the team out.”
