Ramon Edwards

Creative, Driven Innovator. I am Ramon Mark Edwards II, born in Chapel Hill and raised in Durham, NC. I recently returned to Durham from Atlanta in order to finish school and to reconnect with the movements and growth of my hometown. I am an avid reader and extremely curious person, which tend to go hand in hand. I am also a lifelong fan of the arts in all of its forms from music to visual paintings, to dance, I find that art is one of the best mediums in terms of its ability to communicate complex messages to the masses. I am also a huge proponent of international travel and hope to some day creative a program to provide younger students with the ability to immerse themselves in the culture and worldview of others through travel. My current goals are to expand my artistic network as well as completing my academic journey. I love finding time to volunteer, especially in the area of education i.e tutoring and mentoring. I love to smile and pride myself on always having an optimistic outlook on any situation. In addition, I practice meditation and Tai Chi and am always open to guide anyone who is interested in practicing as well.
