Ramon Reig-Bolaño received the Bachelor degree in Telecomunications Engineering: sound and Image processing in 1989, the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 1994 and the Ph. D. degree in 2008, all from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, BarcelonaTech. In 1989 he joined the Department of Digital and Information Technologies of the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC). He develops his research at Data and Signal Processing (DSP) group and maintains active collaborations with international groups, he is founding member at the Associated research Unit from ICM-CSIC, within AFORO Project. He was visiting Research with the BISITE research Group in the University of Salamanca (Spain). His research interests are in signal and image processing, Information Fusion, Pattern Recognition and Mobile Applications. He has participated in more than 5 international and national research projects. He is co-editor of 2 Proceedings Book. He has published more than 30 papers in international journals and conferences and has been scientific reviewer in different international journals and conferences since 2008. He was the CCIA 2013 Local Chair.
