In the last 10 years, Rana Babaç has held different executive positions in both media and entertainment industries.

From managing marcom activities of a portfolio of international media and luxury brands (incl. Walt Disney, Land Rover, Hilton and ViaCom) at Grayling International's Turkey office, to playing a pivotal role in organizing international sports events such as Redbull Air Race 2007, Formula 1 Grand Prix 2007 and X-Fighters, Ms.Babaç was instrumental in countless success stories of both national and international brands.

In 2012 she set up marketing operations of Discovery Networks in company's newly opened Turkish office in Istanbul. Until late 2015 she looked after Discovery Communications'​ world renowned love brands including but are not limited to Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Science and IDXtra. In 2015 Babaç briefly joined WWF Turkey to undertake a number of fundraiser projects and international deals while pursuing her passion for wildlife preservation. In the same year Rana also started studying pre-veterinary medicine and laboratory studies.

In 2014 - in cooperation with the Swedish Consulate in Istanbul - she founded the Swedish Alumni Network in Turkey where she still heads network's Istanbul chapter and carries out its nation wide communication activities.

In 2010 Rana Babac founded BrandCritique Consultancy Services and a year after that Cats of Istanbul, a social entrepreneurship project that works to improve the quality of life for stray and shelter animals.

A member of Robert College Alumni Association, Istanbul Modern, TurkishWIN, WWF, Buğday Association for Supporting Ecological Living and the official representative of Animal Rights Federation, Rana loves horse-riding, trekking, traveling, cooking and soul-arts.

She holds MSc degree in International Marketing with an emphasis on Luxury Goods & Services from Halmstad University in Sweden.
