Randall Lum

An executive with over two decades of leadership experience in the defense industry, Randall Lum directs special projects for the Aerospace Sector of Northrop Grumman Corporation. Mr. Lum relies upon team-based leadership in his efforts to increase revenue and shareholder value. He brings organizational restructuring and business process re-engineering experience to his work, but pairs those with strategic marketing and development of strong customer relations.

A graduate of the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, Randall Lum earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Digital Signal Processing. For two years Mr. Lum worked for the National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland, where he was a member of the Secure Voice and Communications Design Group. He then worked at Lockheed Martin Corporation for a decade, as a program manager in the Mission Management Segment and then Lockheed Martin Corporate Re-Engineering, followed by service as the director of Systems Engineering in the Space-Based Surveillance Systems Program.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Randall Lum spent almost a decade at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). His first assignment was Vice President and Division Manager of the SAIC Engineering and Integration Services Division. He then became Vice President of Space Systems Engineering and, finally, Vice President of Operations of the Space Systems Engineering and Integration Division.

In spite of his full professional life, Randall Lum finds time for community involvement. An Eagle Scout, he serves as a Scoutmaster, as well as coaching basketball for the Parks and Recreation League in Torrance, California. He has been on the Board of Directors and served as a past Vice President of Operations for the Los Angeles chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
