Phoenix Children's Hospital

I am a physician with the Phoenix Children’s Pediatric and Adolescent Sports Medicine Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I am board certified in pediatrics and fellowship trained in pediatric primary care sports medicine. I specialize in non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, sport-specific rehabilitation as well as concussion management. I have a special interest in sports nutrition and quality improvement in medical care.

I received my medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and went on to complete a pediatric residency and chief residency at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Most recently I completed a fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in primary care sports medicine. While in Cincinnati, I was an active part of the medical team for two NCAA Division I athletic programs, several high school football teams as well as The Flying Pig Marathon.
