Favorite Childhood Memory?
-My favorite childhood memory is of a time when my dad took my younger brother and I fishing. Once a year, the three of us would wake up at 5a.m. and find some earth worms in the back yard to use as bait for the trip. After getting a tin can full, we would drive out to a lake a little outside of town and fish.
What was your first day of classes like?
-My first day of classes was an amazing experience. Everything was so new and so much bigger compared to high school. My first class was a Science101 lecture in Todd Hall. Being in a class room of over 100 people was a little bit of a shock but it's something that you get accustomed to.
What is your fondest WSU memory thus far?
-That would be the 2012 Apple Cup. One of my friends plays on the football team and was actually the one that made, the potentially, game winning interception in overtime. There is no better feeling then being a Coug when we beat the Huskies.
What advice do you have for new Cougar parents?
-The upcoming four or five years are going to be very exciting. I would recommend being supportive of your student for EVERY decision they might make during their time in college. There are many opportunities out there and they will want to try new things. Some of the decisions might not seem logical at first, but they really do need to learn from their experiences. The person you know now will grow and mature during their time at Washington State University.
What is your favorite quote?
-I have two favorite quotes that my coaches in high school use to always say: "A goal without a plan is only a dream" and "If you want something that you've never had, you must be willing to do something that you've never done."
What is your favorite movie?
-My favorite movie is The Italian Job.
What are you involved in?
-I try to be as involved on campus as I possibly can be because I am only going to get the college experience one time in my life and I don't want to regret not participating in something. I am involved in intramural sports, attend as many sporting events as I can including but not limited to, football games, basketball games, volleyball games, swimming, track and the occasional baseball game during the summer. My sophomore year, I worked as a weight room attendant at the Student Recreation Center. Since then, I work at the Information Desk in the Compton Union Building. Feel free to come up and ask me questions if you n
