I am a Civic Activist and Environmental Steward who feels a great responsibility to create a world that offers equal opportunity for all. I come from a family of military service personnel and first responders, and was the first Boehme to leave home pursuing professional opportunities. After decades of hard work, I ultimately owned and operated multiple business ventures within the Medical Delivery Industry. I was a CEO that managed technologies including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, in combination with clinical and surgical delivery systems via a multitude of healthcare professionals in combination with hundreds of technical and business staff support personnel. Over the years I have been humbled to receive many leadership awards, and learned at an early age that success is a product of work ethic, and a passion to be the best person possible. Throughout my career, I sincerely believe that it was never myself that independently succeeded, rather it was those that surrounded me that made the difference. My education initiated at Kent State University, where I played Division One Varsity Ice Hockey, thereafter I continued my studies at The University of Toledo receiving an Undergraduate Degree in Economics. Lastly, I attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa, focusing on Healthcare Economics. Throughout life I have been a believer that giving one’s self is the greatest attribute any person can develop. In saying this, my lifelong volunteer experience is extensive, exemplified by Ten Board appointments. In 2017 my environmental activism paved the way to initiate Keep Bluffton Beautiful, a Palmetto Pride event that occurs every spring and is sponsored by hundreds of volunteers. Additionally, I am a proactive Activist for The Coastal Conservation League, an Audubon Ambassador, and a Clemson Master Naturalist. Since moving to South Carolina in 2015 I have been recognized by the Town of Bluffton, Beaufort County Council, and the state of South Carolina for my Environmental Stewardship and Civic Leadership. I was Beaufort County Volunteer of the Year in 2017, and Keep America Beautiful South Carolina Volunteer of the Year for 2019. My aspirations are to spend the last chapters of life fulfilling my innermost desire to bring goodwill to all, from inspiring the youth of our region via educational opportunities to environmental stewardship, affordable housing, and medical equality for all.
