Randy Davis

Hello! My name is Randy Davis, I am 39 years old, I live in Worthington Minnesota and employed at WGTN TV3. When I was 2 years old I had open-heart surgery and a stroke, after the surgery the doctors told my parents that I would not grow or do things like the other kids. 37 years later I have proved the doctors wrong.

I started my broadcasting career in high school where they had television studio and as they say, “The rest is history”. After high school I went to North Central University in Minneapolis for Broadcasting and Mass Communications. I didn’t finish college so I stayed up there and did some other jobs. Though in 2003 I came back to my roots and got a job where I started at the local cable access station WGTN TV3 as a Sports Producer and Program Director. Since then I got my Business Degree at Minnesota West and Technical College in 2009. Now I am in my second year at Full Sail University getting my Bachelors Degree in Entertainment Business.

After Full Sail I would like to work in the television, sports, and film production industry. Also, looking forward to having my own media corporation with business in television, film, sports, and online.
