Randy Spartachino
A former analyst, writer, and consultant for One Story Building in Fairfield, Connecticut, Randy Spartachino is currently engaged in a work of narrative nonfiction scheduled to be completed before the end of 2012. Acting as a cultural anthropologist, Mr. Spartachino conducts research across several academic disciplines in order to develop theories and draw conclusions that will drive his project.
Before his employment at One Story Building, Randy Spartachino served as Executive Director of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Events for the town of Barrington, New Hampshire, where he directed a multimillion-dollar system of city parks, community waterfront property, and recreational facilities.
When not working, Randy Spartachino actively participates in adult community baseball and youth sports coaching. He also contributes to an assortment of professional, recreational, and charitable organizations, such as the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, the New England Mountain Bike Association, and Habitat for Humanity International. Mr. Spartachino also enjoys leisure activities not limited to organizing block parties, gardening, and traveling with his family.
In the past, Mr. Spartachino and his fiancée took a group of eight high school seniors to Mexico City to work with newly arrived residents to the city to build houses of bricks and mortar for a community of 30 men, women, and children.
