With extensive strategic and corporate communications experience, Randy Steinberg leads the Valence Group, Inc., as Principal. He has previously provided public relations services to major corporate clients including John Laing Homes, Kor Group, and SolarReserve. Randy Steinberg has obtained national media coverage for clients in leading outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and National Public Radio.

Mr. Steinberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania, and subsequently achieved a Juris Doctor at Tulane Law School in New Orleans. He worked with the Anti-Defamation League from 1994 to 1996, representing the civil rights organization as spokesperson in interviews with media outlets such as NBC Radio and the Los Angeles Times.

While serving in Mayor Richard Riordan's Office of Economic Development, Randy Steinberg was instrumental in revitalizing dormant industrial properties in the San Fernando Valley and advocated on behalf of City businesses before the Los Angeles City Council and the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee. His efforts yielded awards of $8.6 million in tax- exempt Industrial Development Bond financing to small Los Angeles-based companies.

As President of Steinberg/Allen Communications, Inc., Mr. Steinberg facilitated a $2 million Industrial Development Bond for Mission Community Hospital. He also helped develop $1.5 million in new business for Ricon Corporation, a manufacturer of wheelchair lifts and ramps for busses and trains.

Randy Steinberg also guided Cadforce, a Los Angeles architectural services firm, as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Developing and implementing a focused media relations strategy, he garnered media coverage in major publications such as BusinessWeek.

In addition to his business endeavors, Randy Steinberg has served on the board of the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation since 2008. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
