Ah! We meet .... and it's a pleasure I might add.
Typically when people ask me about myself, I am never sure where to start. You will find I am usually an open book with subject matter pertaining to myself, so it's a matter of what about me would you like to know? Since there isn't any actual dialogue between us yet, I'll try my best to wing it. :)
Growing up I was a military brat. My father was in the Air Force and we were stationed in the bay area when I entered the fourth grade. Fortunately for me, we didn't have to move after our arrival into California. I was extremely shy as a young girl, so making friends in new places wasn't exactly one of my strong points. I swam competitively up until the age of 18. Although I did this for 10 years, I wasn't exactly passionate about it. My true passion was Tahitian Ori and Polynesian dance which I am still active with to this day.
I currently work as a software engineer and I absolutely LOVE it...Strangely, I never would have thought I'd end up in this career field. Growing up I was never into video games and I never got down with computers in that techie "1337" sort of way. I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. It was a good friend of mine who inspired me to take on. I say inspired because I always admired his superior computing skills...ya he was "1337". I found it sexy, and I wanted that sexy too! So...here I am. On a mission to knock out code with the best of them.
