Hello!
I'm an engineer by education, a quality & process control manager by profession and a cyclist by passion.
I work in the heart of manufacturing i.e. the Iron & Steel industry in India - one of the most challenging business environments. Over 4 years in the industry, I have analyzed diverse processes for control & optimization. Having worked in two of the largest companies in this sector, I’ve gained first-hand and comparative view of impact of management policies and attitude of operators on a plant’s performance and growth. For me, quality and consistency are the keywords to achieve sustained performance.
I have a strong penchant for problem solving. Problem solving for me is not complete till the system is fixed to either stop or predict the re-occurrence of the problem. I have an avid interest in software & web development and have used this skill in solving various problems. Of particular mention is a first of its kind computerized voting system that I had created for the NIT Student Council to solve the problem of erroneous voting. Software development is a hobby that has helped me to develop critical problem solving skills and shape my thinking.
I love running, cycling & swimming. These activities refresh my brain and fill me with zeal to constantly challenge myself.
