Mr. Rankin directs the company with the central goal of designing, building, and managing properties that promote economic development and an enhanced quality of life for those in the world's most economically disadvantaged regions. Together with an experienced group of specialists, Guy Rankin focuses on providing housing solutions for the 1.6 billion people around the world living without homes or in inadequate housing; he is also a proponent of green building practices.

Guy Rankin utilizes a systematic approach in designing and planning new developments which are customizable to suit a wide variety of cultures and regions. Partnering with government entities, Mr. Rankin offers several services through International Housing Solutions, including design and construction, as well as managing real estate assets. Prior to entering the field of global housing development, Guy Rankin studied political science at North Carolina Central University. He has led community development organizations throughout the United States.
