Third World Country Kid
In a day in society where the world is getting smaller (YAY FOR GLOBALISATION) I am not bound to one culture but rather multiple. I was born and raised in the Philippines but, have live most of my life in other countries and learnt about many others as well. Heck, an interest of a country has now become a career goal in life. If you do ask, no I can’t speak my own language (Tagalog) but, can hold a conversation in both English and Japanese. Japan? The land of the rising sun? Yes, that land. Not only that, know a few phrases in Vietnamese, Samoan, Mandarin, Maori etc. Always am interested in learning any new language especially if the country’s food is amazing. So if you ask me what nationality I am, legally I have to say I’m Filipino but, deep down I will be a Third World Country Kid.
Photographer
“A photo says a thousand words” We all have heard that phrase before however, it is up to the viewers’ interpretation of the photo that makes up the number of words that the photo may present. Sadly that was not the reason when I started taking photography. For me it was a way to stay away from the camera due to the fact that being thick faced will lead to embarrassing photos. I then thought to myself instead of staying away, why not embrace the camera? This way I can help create and store memories. From ceremonies to birthdays to drunk nights out and everything in between. It is a way to freeze a moment in time because once it is gone we can never relive that moment again. With the photos it is possible. Instead of telling a story why not just relive a moment? See how much you have/haven’t changed.
