Raphi Agregado

Hello! I am Raphi Agregado, an experienced marketing coordinator currently working in the natural health industry. I have been working in this industry for two years and in other fields of marketing prior. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a Major in Communications from the Ateneo De Manila University located in Manila, Philippines and a diploma in Marketing Communications from The British Columbia Institute of Technology. In addition to my current work experience as a marketing coordinator, I have done internships in various organizations including DDB where I was a member of the Accounts Services Teams that worked on various key accounts such as BC Hydro, BCLC and CTC. I also interned at Ericsson, a multinational telecommunications company as a marketing communications trainee. I also worked for FUSE, an events company in Manila as an executive assistant. Overall I have a well rounded marketing foundation that I am constantly fortifying every day.

As a worker I am very pro-active, organized and a self starter. I pay close attention to detail. I am very comfortable in playing a certain team role and take changes and developments at the work place in stride. My references willl say that I have the ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently but thrive even more working in teams. I am a quick learner and I am always enthusiastic to learn more skills.

I am proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel as I had siginificant training in the past. I can also use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

My background.I consider myself a Third Culture Adult. I grew up living in different cities, countries and around different cultures and people. Growing up I lived in various places around South East Asia and moved to Vancouver four years ago. I went to International Schools which allowed me to hone my skills not only academically but also on a social level. By being exposed to numerous cultures, I learned how to interact and empathize with various people from all over the globe.

I enjoy sports, such as soccer, hockey, basketball, futsal, racing, wake boarding and boxing. During my free time I play video games with friends, go out on the weekends, travel and exlpore new food places. I also find happiness in doing volunteer work for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
