Rick Raducha

I’m thankful that I was born in the 50’s, in1956 to be exact. I say ‘thankful’ because the world was much less complicated. Because of this, I strongly believe doctors had much greater time to provide their patients with care.

I was born in New Britain, Connecticut. I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, also called “brittle bones.”

When ever I was in the ‘crash-house’ as I called it, my parents...grand parents..would bring me miniature racing cars to play with. Though these days were painful, frustrating, I know they shaped me and directed my future.

Today I'm a huge motorsports fan, attending as many as 113 races each year. I also own my own marketing company, Driver Connection. We secure and promote sponsors and are dedicated to improving the ability and lives of race car drivers.

I also race slot cars...remember those? I began racing at my house but became rather good progressing to win the Nat's in 1985 and the Olympiad in '86 where I became 'Rapid Rick' a name that stuck.
