Sustainable Engineering with Gender Perspective in Múnich, Alemania

Since I was a child, I always wanted to understand how things work and I had special interest in creating new things. For that reason I decided to study industrial engineering. Developing most of my career in the automotive branch, my job gave me a certain financial ability which allowed me to visit countries out of Europe.

Travelling raised my awareness around environmental issues. It was my trigger. I started to explore more about climate change and to take more conscious choices. I felt that I should redirect my job and I decided to enhance my educational background in environmental management. This is how I discovered Systems Thinking, a different way of approaching complex and uncertain situations.

As curious and open-minded as I have always been, I came across the situation of women. The political and social aspects of our health, professional and personal situations, which I could experience first-hand during my pregnancy and maternity, need to be addressed urgently. Gender perspective and ecofeminism have become an essential part of my life.

After a career break and being aware of the systemic nature of current challenges, I am in search of new professional opportunities where engineering, sustainable development and ecofeminism merge to create a new approach.
