Rashidah Id-Deen

I am the Founder and Director of a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization entitled JUST PROPORTIONS FOUNDATION. It is a organization for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. As a survivor myself, I learned through my journey of healing, the significance of education and awareness, (of this often considered taboo subject) , and the need to openly disclose and discuss as survivors. Having survived multiple rapes and many years of domestic violence myself, I learned through taking my last sexual abuser to trial (twice), and eventually winning a conviction, that much work ,service, and support of healing for survivors is still needed to be done. Consequently I became a motivational speaker, Certified Self-Esteem Master Trainer(CSEMT), recieved my diploma in fitness and nutrition, became a physical trainer, and then ultimately became an author of an autobiography and contemporary guide for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, entitled Save Your Life. My book is available online at www.barnesandnoble.com and www.amazon.com. For anyone wishing to make donations to my tax-exempt and tax-deductible non-profit organization Just Proportions Foundation, you may do so through paypal.com. My account email address is [email protected].

In addition, I am a mother of six adult children, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. It is my mission, purpose, and passion in life to help serve and support others on their path to healing!
