The Republican Association of Tourism Agencies (RATA) is the largest non-profit professional union of the travel industry in Belarus. Founded in 2019, it currently unites over 300 travel companies and independent entrepreneurs across the country, representing a major share of the national travel market.

The association serves as a key mediator between the private travel sector and government bodies, such as the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus. RATA's primary mission is to build a transparent, secure, and legally compliant tourism market, effectively protecting the rights of both travel businesses and consumers.

For its members, RATA provides essential legal support, standardized contract templates, and industry insights. It also plays a vital role in managing the Tour Operators' Liability Fund, which serves as a financial safety net for travelers and ensures industry stability during global market shifts.
