Rauf Hassan

"Hello and welcome! I'm Engr. Hassan, a versatile consultant, Civil Engineer, and life coach based in Lagos, Nigeria. My passion for construction, project management, and research drives me to continuously enhance my skills and knowledge in these fields. With a strong background in building inspection and non-destructive testing, I have been in the engineering industry since 2016.

My Educational Journey

I pursued my dream of becoming a Civil Engineer by studying at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and proceeded with an MSc. at the University of Lagos. In both educational levels, i performed excellently becoming the best in class. The journey has been filled with challenges and growth opportunities. I started my career as a site supervisor during my one-year internship and later moved on to work as an admin officer at another company for three years. While there, I also served as a freelance consultant for two other companies.

Expertise and Experience

I have extensive experience in various sectors and stages of the engineering industry, with a proven track record in administrative tasks such as proposals, bills, and schedules. I am skilled in building structural designs and drawings and proficient in using a range of administrative and engineering software such as Microsoft Suites, Prota Structure, AutoCAD, Microsoft project management, and Google Suites.

Leadership and Goals

Throughout my journey, I have been a leader in various capacities, including serving on the electoral committee at university, being the president of the Drug-Free Club in 2015, and serving as the Team Lead at Skaap Consult. My long-term goal is to become a leading authority in Building Construction Safety, with a focus on non-destructive techniques.
