Raul Alarcon

Raul is an engineer specialized in project risk management, space product assurance, quality, safety and information management systems operating in private and public organisations, including laboratories and test centres. He has experience in the marine industry as Senior Surveyor and has worked establishing and maintaining management systems in the education field, automotive industry and space sector for more than 20 years. Nowadays Raul works as Head of the Product Assurance Management Section at the European Space Agency's Product Assurance and Safety Department. He is also a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner on Project Management, and a Certified Scrum Master.

In his spare time, Raul enjoys sailing, diving, martial arts, and reading anything that falls in his hands from economics to engineering.
