Raul Saad

Raul Saad is the General Manager and Director of Tennis at the Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club in Shreveport, LA. The club is and award winning facility, recognized as one of the preeminent tennis clubs in the South, with 21 soft and hard courts, formal and informal dining rooms, aquatic center, fitness center and a fully stocked Pro Shop. It has a noteworthy tennis tradition, having been the club where Ryan Harrison, America's newest hope, grew up and learned how to play. Additionally, it has been selected by the USTA for the last 17 years as the as the host of the prestigious and award winning National Boys and Girls 16's Intersectional Team Championship (past participants include Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, the Bryan Brothers and Robbie Ginepri). As a result of the accomplishments that Raul achieved as a General Manager, he was awarded the 2011 USPTA General Manager of the Year Award.

Raul Saad, formerly the Director of Tennis at the United States Tennis Association Player Development Headquarters at Key Biscayne, is a US Professional Tennis Association "Master Professional", a certification achieved by less than 1% of tennis professionals World-wide.

Raul Saad was a High School State Champion and a 3 time Collegiate All American, winning the Collegiate National Championship in 1984. He served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at the University of Tennessee where the team was the SEC Conference Champion and achieved a top 3 national ranking. At UT, Saad earned his Master Degree with academic honors. He also served as the Head Coach for Carson-Newman College where he coached the team to a runner up finish in the Conference and a top 10 National ranking.

Raul Saad is a respected author and lecturer, having published extensively and conducted seminars and clinics for tennis professionals throughout the US and abroad.

Raul holds the "USA High Performance Coach" Certification, endorsed by all the tennis coaching government bodies: USTA, USPTA, and PTR. He also held USPTA top 10 National rankings in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles and served as a member of the Reebok National Advisory Staff and Speaker's bureau.
