Raul Valverde

Raul Valverde is a visual artist from Madrid, Spain.

His work has been exhibited at the Bronx Museum of the Arts (2013), La Casa Encendida, Madrid (2012), MARCO Museo de Arte Contemporanea de Vigo (2012), American Museum of the Arts, Washington D.C. (2012); Anthology Film Archives, New York (2011); Instituto Cervantes, Milan (2009); Circulo de Bellas Artes, Madrid (2008) and Royal College of Art, London, (2007) among others. Solo exhibitions include 'Raul would like you to be critically happy', Centro de Arte Complutense, Madrid (2012), 'Colorear/Editar/Ocupar', Museo del Grabado Espanol Contemporaneo, Malaga (2012); '2010-2030', Ventana244, New York (2011); and 'To look and to look'; PhotoEspana, Madrid (2010).

Raul is a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship, FAAP Residencia Artistica, Sao Paulo, and Fellow of the AIM program of the Bronx Museum of the Arts, NYC.
