As a servant leader intern with the Children's Defense Fund it has always been important to understand I owe a service to the people I hope to lead. It is my responsibility to ensure the children of my community have a chance to excel in whatever they want to do. I think a career in personal finance would give me an opportunity to reach individuals by advising them on ways to reach financial stability. It is my goal to work in the area around my hometown of Bennettsville, SC so I can give back to the community that has given me so much love and support.

I will be receiving an undergraduate degree from the Francis Marion University School of Business in May of 2014. My area of concentration is finance.

Outside of school and work I enjoy spending time with my extended family. The children in my life are extremely important to me, and everything I do is so I can be an example for them. I like to think they look up to me; therefore, I try to be someone worth admiring.
