Raven S. Williams

Hello world! As you can probably read, my name is Raven Williams but sometimes my friends and family call me "Rae" for short. In 2012, I graduated with honors from King College Preparatory High School in Chicago,IL.

I now attend Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Some of the things that I love to do in my spare time includes reading novels, spending time with my family, and listening to music, which is my passion.

I eat, sleep, and breath music. It allows me to express some of the emotions that I keep bottled in or can't find the words to say. God has given me the gift of playing a full set of drums. Some of my role models are Shelia E. and Tony Royster Jr. I started playing when I was nine years old and now I've been playing for 10 years and counting :-)

My mother has always taught me that education is the key to success, which is why she has and will always be my main supporter. She has also expressed to me how important it is to live my life, stay true to who I am, and do it all with a smile.

Besides God, my family, education, and music, I love to laugh. I believe laughing is the best medicine that can heal all wounds. Most people find my laugh contagious and even annoying sometimes, but I don't try to fit in with the crowd by doing or behaving how they think I should behave. I stand out with my passion for music. I stand out with my love and faith in God. I stand out with my bubbly personality and sweet spirit. I stand out with my laughter. I stand out by just being me because no one can imitate or emulate Raven Williams!
