Ravichandra Tandra

Arlington, VA

Born and raised in India, Ravichandra Tandra attended Guru Nanak Engineering College, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology. During his college career, he was active in community service as a volunteer for the Indian Red Cross Society. In the aftermath of the devastating tsunami of 2004, he worked to bring relief to victims, and was awarded a Gold Medal and a Certificate of Merit for sustained and meritorious service. Ravichandra Tandra has since relocated to the United States, completing his education with a Master's degree in Computer Science degrees from Sam Houston State University.

Ravichandra Tandra is skilled in numerous software platforms, including Oracle Business Intelligence and MicroStrategy Suite. He worked for four years as a MicroStrategy Consultant for companies including Black Hawk Networks, eBay, Inc., Bank of America, and Edifice Technologies. Mr. Tandra's interpersonal and communication skills enable him to work effectively in diverse team settings. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

In 2010, Ravichandra Tandra joined Buccaneer, a General Dynamics Company, located in Falls Church, Virginia. He is a Software Engineer and a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer for the company, working across a spectrum of integrated needs and providing business solutions to corporate and government clients. Mr. Tandra has excellent data warehousing skills and is well-versed in dimensional modeling platforms, including Snowflake, Star, and Hybrid applications.

When not working, Mr. Tandra gives back to the community as a volunteer math tutor for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Washington, D.C. He enjoys bowling and playing billiards with friends, and is also an avid kick-boxer. To further advance his abilities, Ravichandra Tandra recently took a number of classes with Dale Carnegie Training, including Effective Communication Skills, Human Relations, and the Keys to Success.
