Ahammed (born November 1, 1957) is an Indian entrepreneur and the Founder and Chairman of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the world's largest jewelry retail chains with over 400 showrooms across 14 countries. Starting as a spice trader at age 17, he founded his jewelry business in 1993 with ₹50 lakh and has built it into a ₹62,000+ crore ($7.5 billion) global empire.
