Ravina Ji

What was Papaji's name?
After meeting his mentor Ramana Maharshi at the sacred peak Arunachala in 1947, Papaji, also known as Poonjaji, awoke. Papajidedicated the rest of his life spreading this self-realization spirit. First, he travelled widely throughout India, frequently visiting spiritual sites such as Rishikesh and Haridwar and assisting seekers.

Later in life, he resided in Lucknow, and in the 1990s, he became a spiritual attraction, particularly for Westerners. Many of these searchers were awakened by Papajiand sent forth as teachers.
